Course overview
This course provides a foundational understanding of cybersecurity systems, governance models, and policy frameworks that define the cybersecurity landscape. Students will examine how governmental and organizational cybersecurity policies influence infrastructure security, data protection, and incident response strategies. The course emphasizes systems analysis, compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA, and the use of policy-driven approaches to secure enterprise systems.
